Our guest speaker will be Nic Skovgaard, the founder of AlterEgo Marketing.
Nic Skovgaard is the founder of AlterEgo Marketing, a full-service creative agency with clients spanning seven states. He graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with a degree in Public Relations.
Skovgaard founded AlterEgo Marketing in June 2014 and has represented many well-known businesses, including RSP Heating & Cooling, Integrity Roofing, Wright Building Center, The Southern Illinois Community Foundation, The Miss Illinois Organization, Joy Pet Food, The Illinois Broadcasting Association, Tru-Bilt Buildings, and Flesner-Wentzel Law.
Nic is a graduate of the Leadership Carbondale program, The Wizard Academy, and The SBA’s Emerging Leaders Program. Nic has been recognized as one of The Southern Illinoisan’s 20 under 40 and The Carbondale Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Carbondale Chamber of Commerce and is a member of both the Kiwanis Club and the Rotary Club. As the facilitator of the Jackson County CEO program, a part of the Midland Institute for Entrepreneurship, Nic helps students found their first business before they graduate high school.
Today as the owner of AlterEgo Marketing, I work with my team to help businesses across Illinois and beyond execute high-level, long-term marketing strategies that focus on making a difference for their companies, their customers, and the communities they thrive in.
Nic currently lives in Herrin with his wife Nancy and four young children.
